This waterline will run from the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority site on Ammann Road to the elevated water storage tank site at the northern end of the road, near the city limits. On April 2, Fair Oaks Ranch will consider an agreement with Kendall County for the softening of the northern sharp curve.

Timeline: early 2027Cost: $6.41 millionFunding source: city of Fair Oaks RanchRolling Acres Trail

Project: The project includes reconstruction of around 1,300 linear feet of Rolling Acres Trail between Ammann Road and Flagstone Hill Drive to reduce road deterioration. Sections of the road are expected to have a 2-foot buffer.

Update: A drainage improvement project for Rolling Acres Rail in Fair Oaks Ranch is being canceled due to project cost and impact. City staff said the project exceeds the budget allocation, and the benefit would be a minimal reduction in stormwater inundation. Given these factors, staff recommended not moving forward with the drainage project March 19.

Timeline: early 2028Cost: $2.77 million-$4.72 millionFunding source: city of Fair Oaks RanchOngoing projects

Ralph Fair Road Cibolo Creek Bridge

Project: A new bridge is being constructed over Cibolo Creek in Fair Oaks Ranch. The new bridge is designed for a 100-year storm event, ensuring it will not flood. The bridge project will also provide for a sidewalk and a shared-use path, along with access to city trails.

Update: On April 2, traffic on the bridge is planned to be reduced to one lane to install the final striping configuration. The project is expected to reach substantial completion in April.

Timeline: 2024-April 2026Cost: $12 millionFunding source: state and federal funds

“>

Bridge work on Ralph Fair Road in Fair Oaks Ranch is planned to reach substantial completion in April,…

[8
83508,83514,89542,89538,89545,89541,89539,85023,89543,89544,89540,82,84,83
0":"post-231470","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-san-antonio","8":"tag-ammann-road-reconstruction-fair-oaks-ranch","9":"tag-fair-oaks-ranch-2024-bond-projects","10":"tag-fair-oaks-ranch-city-council-april-2-meeting","11":"tag-fair-oaks-ranch-road-projects-april-2026","12":"tag-fair-oaks-ranch-transportation-updates","13":"tag-gbra-ammann-road-waterline","14":"tag-kendall-county-ammann-road-agreement","15":"tag-ralph-fair-road-cibolo-creek-bridge-completion","16":"tag-ralph-fair-road-traffic-striping-april-1","17":"tag-road-curve-softening-ammann-road","18":"tag-rolling-acres-trail-drainage-project-cancellation","19":"tag-san-antonio","20":"tag-san-antonio-headlines","21":"tag-san-antonio-news
["GET
