He was 82. <\/p>\n<p>Rogers was the co-founder of Mary Kay in the 1960s and would hold various leadership positions at the iconic beauty products company, including as CEO, according to a statement. Together with his wife, Nancy, he supported a variety of charitable and cultural causes.<\/p>\n<p>He was born April 15, 1943, in Bryan to Julius Ben Rogers, a musician, and Mary Kathlyn Wagner Rogers, before she was later more widely known as Mary Kay Ash. The family would relocate to Dallas, and Richard Rogers would attend Hillcrest High School.
