Calling all youth artists ages 5-18: Downtown Plano Historic Arts District is asking for submissions for winter-themed banners. <\/p>\n

The Downtown Plano Arts District<\/a> is inviting youth ages 5-18 to submit original artwork for the district\u2019s first-ever Street Banner Design Contest.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n Artwork should reflect the winter season, be vertical in orientation and submitted either digitally (hi-res) or on unlined paper or canvas.<\/p>\n Art can be submitted<\/p>\n on an 8\u00d711 sheet of paper \u00a0Ten artists will be selected to have their artwork displayed on banners throughout Downtown Plano. Each winner will receive $100.<\/p>\n Artwork is due Nov. 11 by 11:59 p.m. Ten artists will be selected and notified by Nov. 24, each receiving $100.
