the Department of Justice<\/a>, Pooh Shiesty \u2014 whose real name is Lontrell Williams Jr. \u2014 and eight other defendants travelled to Dallas, Texas, to kidnap and rob victims who thought they were coming into town for a business meeting.\u00a0<\/p>\nThe federal criminal complaint alleges that the \u201cBack in Blood\u201d rapper arranged the meeting on Jan. 10 to discuss his recording contract \u2014 he was previously signed to Gucci Mane\u2019s 1017 record label. Then, he and the defendants executed a coordinated armed takeover.<\/p>\n

The complaint alleges that he produced an AK-style pistol and forced one of the victims to sign a release from his recording contract at gunpoint. His alleged conspirators also allegedly brought out guns and robbed the victims of Rolex watches, jewelry, cash and other high-value items.<\/p>\n
Rodney Wright Jr., known as rapper Big30, allegedly blocked the door so the victims couldn\u2019t leave the room.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The complaint states that within hours of the robbery, the defendants posted what appeared to be some of the stolen jewelry on social media.<\/p>\n

All nine defendants are charged with kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping.<\/p>\n
If convicted, they could face a sentence of up to life in prison.<\/p>\n
According to the Department of Justice, Pooh Shiesty was already on home confinement for a prior firearms conspiracy conviction out of the Southern District of Florida during the time of the alleged crime. <\/p>\n

Page Six reached out to Gucci Mane\u2019s rep for comment, but didn\u2019t receive an immediate response.<\/p>\n
