The project is located between Fair Oaks Parkway and Leslie Pfeiffer Drive, near the Frost Bank property and the upcoming Cinco De Mayo restaurant property.<\/p>\n<p>The details<\/p>\n<p>Procurement Manager Clayton Hoelscher said the purpose of the project is to provide the city with a backup water supply in the event of pressure loss, system failure, extended power outages or other emergencies.<\/p>\n<p>Around 700 feet of 3- and 6-inch lines will be replaced with 12-inch lines capable of bringing in approximately 1,000 gallons per minute, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/fairoaksranchtx.api.civicclerk.com\/v1\/Meetings\/GetMeetingFileStream(fileId=2289,plainText=false)\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">April 2 agenda<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A bid for the project was awarded to <a href=\"https:\/\/rljoneslp.com\/home\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">RL Jones LP<\/a>, a San Antonio-based general contractor, for $287,453.
