videos have been surfacing showing of his questionable courtroom conduct<\/a>.<\/p>\nChapter 13 bankruptcy allows individuals to reorganize their finances and repay debts over time through a court-approved plan.<\/p>\n
However, court documents show Milliron\u2019s case was dismissed on June 24, 2025, after he failed to comply with required filings outlined by the court.<\/p>\n
The debts included:<\/p>\n
More than $30,000 owed to American Express <\/p>\n
Additional balances with Chase, Discover, and Bank of America <\/p>\n
Smaller debts tied to collections accounts<\/p>\n

After the dismissal, the court later issued an order formally closing the case and releasing the trustee from further duties.<\/p>\n
When a bankruptcy case is dismissed in federal court, the debtor is still legally responsible for their debts.<\/p>\n
In this case, the court specifically cited Milliron\u2019s failure to resolve deficiencies, meaning he did not comply with court orders, as the reason for dismissal.<\/p>\n
The bankruptcy filing comes as Milliron faces public scrutiny over his behavior in the courtroom.<\/p>\n
Several attorneys have spoken out against Milliron\u2019s behavior calling it inappropriate and appalling.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve never seen a judge act this way,\u201d said James Stafford, a longtime criminal defense attorney. \u201cHis conduct was way out of hand.\u201d<\/p>\n
Stafford said he emailed Milliron after watching the viral clip telling him he should apologize to the IT worker Milliron is seen having a tense exchange with. <\/p>\n
Milliron responded back with ordering Stafford to his court on April 9.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe email is not a valid order, it has no legal enforcement and I do not expect to appear,\u201d Stafford said.<\/p>\n
KPRC 2 has also learned this week Milliron is listed as delinquent on two separate required filings from the Texas Ethics Commission, including both campaign finance and personal financial disclosure reports.<\/p>\n
He is facing a combined $1,500 fine as civil penalties.<\/p>\n
We\u2019ve also obtained past emails from Milliron to District Clerk Marilyn Burgess which highlight his frustration with the district clerk\u2019s office last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy court will no longer be stagnant because of DCO\u2019s ineptitude,\u201d Milliron wrote.<\/p>\n
DCO stands for the district clerk\u2019s office.<\/p>\n
\u201cTHIS IS NO LONGER AN ASK. GET ME A CLERK THAT RESPONDS TO ME and does the job!\u201d Milliron further wrote in his email.<\/p>\n
He told Burgess he is a \u201cduly elected judge\u201d and is not getting the same respect as any other judge in the courthouse.<\/p>\n
Milliron ended the email demanding Burgess to \u201cfix this by Monday.\u201d<\/p>\n
KPRC 2 reached out to Judge Milliron multiple times for comment but did not receive a response.<\/p>\n
The Texas Commission on Judicial Conduct said complaints against judges are not public record.<\/p>\n
