Ella Langley just released the music video for her smash hit song \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas,\u201d<\/a> and she chose to film it in Fort Worth.<\/p>\n

The chart-topping song finds Langley lamenting a lost love on a Texas dancefloor: \u201cShe\u2019s from Texas, I can tell by the way\/He\u2019s two-stepping \u2018round the room,\u201d the first lines of the chorus go.<\/p>\n

The dancehall in the music video is none other than the storied, 65-year-old Stagecoach Ballroom in Fort Worth<\/a>, located at 2516 E. Belknap St.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe video captures the spirit of Texas through the lens of Fort Worth\u2019s legendary Western heritage and live music scene,\u201d an emailed news release from Visit Fort Worth<\/a> says. \u201cThe project spotlights Fort Worth as the ultimate Western destination.\u201d<\/p>\n

Langley co-directed the video, along with Wales Toney and Caylee Robillard.<\/p>\n

Eagle-eyed viewers will also notice a few familiar faces, like Luke Grimes from \u201cYellowstone\u201d and \u201cMarshals\u201d<\/a>; Ava Phillippe (Reese Witherspoon\u2019s daughter); several country stars, like Kaitlin Butts, Casey Donahew, Wade Bowen<\/a>, Mike Ryan, Shea Fisher, Tanner Usrey and \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d co-writer Miranda Lambert<\/a>; and rodeo stars like JB Mauney, Dale Brisby, Tyson Durfey, Shad Mayfield and Leighton Berry.<\/p>\n

\u2018Choosin\u2019 Texas\u2019 and \u2018Dandelion\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d is the first single from Langley\u2019s new album \u201cDandelion,\u201d which comes out Friday, April 10. The song is certified platinum \u2014 meaning it has sold 1 million copies \u2014 and spent weeks on the top of Billboard\u2019s Hot 100 charts. Langley made history with the song<\/a> when she became the first woman to lead the Billboard Hot 100, Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts at the same time.<\/p>\n

Langley will go on tour for the \u201cDandelion\u201d album<\/a>, with an end-of-the-tour stop in Fort Worth at Dickies Arena<\/a> on Aug. 15, 2026. She previously sold out a show at Billy Bob\u2019s in October 2025.<\/p>\n

The Stagecoach Ballroom will host a \u201cDandelion\u201d listening party on Friday, April 10, with exclusive merchandise, albums for sale and a live music show with country music cover songs. Doors open for the event at 6 p.m., wiht dance lessons from 6:30-7:70 and the listening party at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n

Langley is a 26-year-old country singer from Alabama. Her song \u201cyou look like you love me,\u201d from her first album, \u201cHungover,\u201d went viral on TikTok in 2024. Langley released \u201cStill Hungover,\u201d a deluxe version of her debut album, later in 2024. \u201cyou look like you love me\u201d eventually hit No.1 on Billboard\u2019s Country Airplay chart for Dec. 14, 2024.<\/p>\n

At the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards<\/a>, Langley won New Female Artist of the Year, and \u201cyou look like you love me\u201d earned Langley Single of the Year, Musical Event of the Year and Visual Media of the Year. She\u2019s also nominated for five awards at this November\u2019s Country Music Awards<\/a>, including Female Vocalist of the Year.<\/p>\n
