Shooting at JT’s Lounge <\/p>\nDICKINSON, Texas – Dickinson police have arrested a suspect they believe to be connected to the mass shooting after a birthday party on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, Patrick Frederick, 58, was taken into custody for the shooting of seven people in Dickinson outside JT’s Lounge near 24th Street and Avenue F.<\/p>\n
Frederick is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful carrying of a firearm by a convicted felon. His total bond is set at $1 million for both charges.<\/p>\n

What we know:<\/p>\n
Officers from the Dickinson Police Department responded to reports of a disturbance on Avenue F at around 12:30 a.m. Upon arrival, first responders discovered several victims suffering from gunshot wounds scattered outside JT\u2019s Lounge and along nearby 25th Street.<\/p>\n
It was confirmed by officials that seven people were injured. All victims have been identified and were last reported to be in stable condition or had been released from the hospital.<\/p>\n
The shooting happened just as a birthday celebration at the lounge was ending. Party attendees told investigators they were still inside the building when they heard gunfire in the street.<\/p>\n
It remains unclear if those involved in the shooting had attended the party. Most of the ballistic evidence recovered by technicians was located about a block away from the lounge, according to investigators.<\/p>\n
The shooting is still under investigation.<\/p>\n
