{"id":233992,"date":"2026-04-03T20:54:10","date_gmt":"2026-04-03T20:54:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/233992\/"},"modified":"2026-04-03T20:54:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-03T20:54:10","slug":"crash-completely-shuts-down-major-tx-highway-near-austin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/233992\/","title":{"rendered":"Crash completely shuts down major TX highway near Austin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Austin-area drivers hoping to take the toll roads to escape the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysanantonio.com\/news\/local\/traffic\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">traffic<\/a> clog of I-35 are in for a rude awakening on Friday afternoon, April 3.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TxDOTAustin\/status\/2040155609572516134?s=20\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">TxDOT has confirmed<\/a> that all northbound lanes of SH 130 Toll at U.S. Highway 183 are closed due to a crash that occurred at 2:34 p.m. Drivers are being told to expect delays and consider seeking alternate routes.<\/p>\n<p>TxDOT&#8217;s map does not include traffic cameras in the area, but it does show that the crash occurred just north of Mustang Ridge.
