EL PASO, Texas (KTSM<\/a>) \u2014 The Texas Department of Transportation has released a list of road closures for the week of Friday, April 3, 2026, that may affect your commute.<\/p>\n

Districtwide Striping<\/p>\n

Sunday, April 5 \u2013 Saturday, April 11, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

SH-20 (Main St\/Doniphan) between Texas\/New Mexico Stateline and Borderland north and southbound mobile operations.<\/p>\n

SH-20 (Alameda) between Passmore and RM-1110 east and westbound mobile operations.<\/p>\n

Sunday, April 5 \u2013 Saturday, April 11, from 9 p. m. to 5 a.m. (Night)<\/p>\n

SH-20 (Doniphan) between North Mesa and Osborne north and southbound mobile operations.<\/p>\n

FM-659 (Zaragoza) between FM-76 (North Loop) and US-62\/180 (Montana) north and southbound mobile operations.<\/p>\n

Crews will be retracing pavement markings.<\/p>\n

Artcraft Project<\/p>\n

Monday, April 6 \u2013 Friday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (as needed)<\/p>\n

SH-178 (Artcraft) east and westbound between New Mexico State Line and Doniphan alternate lane closures.<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on illumination and wall installations.<\/p>\n

I-10 west and eastbound between Redd and Transmountain left lane closed.<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on median columns steel and erecting formwork.<\/p>\n

Monday, April 6 \u2013 Tuesday, April 7, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. (Night, as needed)<\/p>\n

North Desert between Artcraft\/Paseo del Norte and Transmountain full closure.<\/p>\n

Crews will be moving portable concrete traffic barrier.<\/p>\n

Safety Lighting on Mesa (SH-20) and Dyer St. (BU-54) Project<\/p>\n

Monday, April 6 \u2013 Friday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

SH-20 (Mesa) west and eastbound at Remcon intersection right lane closed.<\/p>\n

SH-20 (Mesa) west and eastbound at Belvidere intersection right lane closed.<\/p>\n

SH-20 (Mesa) west and eastbound at Sunland Park intersection right lane closed.<\/p>\n

I-10 east between Paisano and Trowbridge three right lanes closed<\/p>\n

Raynolds entrance ramp closed<\/p>\n

Geronimo exit ramp closed<\/p>\n

Montana Widening Project<\/p>\n

Monday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n

Joe Battle northbound right lane closed at Montana Avenue intersection.<\/p>\n

Montana Avenue eastbound frontage road right lane closed between Joe Battle Boulevard and Tierra Este Road.<\/p>\n

Montana Avenue eastbound left lane closed before Loop 375 intersection.<\/p>\n

Crews will be boring.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, April 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n

Montana Avenue westbound frontage road right two lanes closed from Tierra Este Road to Joe Battle intersection.<\/p>\n

I-10 Widening West<\/p>\n

Phase 2 \u2013\u00a0Upcoming Closure<\/p>\n

Saturday, April 11 \u2013 Sunday, April 12 (24-Hour Closure), from 3 a.m. to 3 a.m.<\/p>\n

I-10 westbound at Vinton closed.<\/p>\n

Detour: Traffic will exit at Vinton, continue along North Desert through the Vinton and Anthony intersection, and enter I-10 westbound after Anthony.<\/p>\n

Crews will be placing concrete on the roadway.<\/p>\n

Borderland Expressway Phase 2 Project<\/p>\n

Upcoming Closure<\/p>\n

Beginning at 4 a.m., Saturday, April 11 \u2013 12 p.m. Sunday, April 12\u00a0(32-Hour Closure)<\/p>\n

Martin Luther King (FM-3255) north and southbound between Stan Roberts (FM-2529) and O\u2019Hara Road (NM-404) closed.<\/p>\n

Local traffic will be allowed to access businesses and residences between O-Hara Road and the Texas\/New Mexico State Line.<\/p>\n

Detour: Traffic will use NM-404, I-10, Loop 375 (Woodrow Bean\/Transmountain), and US-54.<\/p>\n

Crews will be working on a traffic switch to allow for construction of Martin Luther King new road configuration.<\/p>\n
