We have some difficult news to share about a member of our Spectrum News team.<\/p>\n
There are some people who deliver the forecast, and then there are those who make us all feel at home here in Texas. Dan Robertson did both.<\/p>\n
Dan spent decades on the air in Texas, from his first job in Lufkin to stations in Austin and eventually forecasting across the state on Spectrum News 1.<\/p>\n
Dan provided a voice that people trusted.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m sure many of our viewers felt a connection to Dan, and in the newsroom, we loved him immensely for his witty humor and warm spirit.<\/p>\n
Dan died unexpectedly on Thursday.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s taken a toll on all of us, and our hearts and prayers are with his wife and three sons.<\/p>\n
