They are coming off a\u00a04-3 road loss<\/a>\u00a0to FC Dallas in what was a back-and-forth match that saw Houston score three goals in a five-minute span to retake the lead heading into halftime. The goals came from forward\u00a0Guilherme\u00a0(fourth of season), defender\u00a0Erik\u00a0Sviatchenko\u00a0(first of season) and forward\u00a0Lawrence\u00a0Ennali(first of season), while Guilherme also recorded his second and third assists of the season. Notably,\u00a0the three goals scored in a five-minute span<\/a>\u00a0(29th\u00a0to 33rd\u00a0minutes) is just the 10th\u00a0time that has occurred in MLS history and second-fastest trio in Club history. Houston last completed the feat in August 2009 when Brad Davis (36th minute) and Brian Ching (38th\u00a0and 39th\u00a0minute) each found the back of the net versus D.C. United.<\/p>\n The Dynamo played the final 22 minutes of the road match with 10 men after Sviatchenko was shown a second yellow card in the 68th\u00a0minute, meaning the defender will miss this weekend\u2019s match with an ensuing suspension. An additional lineup note for this weekend is that forward\u00a0Nick\u00a0Markanich\u00a0will serve the second game of his two-match suspension following a red card on March 14 versus the Portland Timbers.<\/p>\n Guilherme is tied for third in MLS with seven goal contributions (four goals and three assists) and is the first Dynamo player to record that many contributions through their first four matches with the Club. His performance in Frisco earned him\u00a0MLSSoccer.com Team of the Matchday<\/a>\u00a0honors for Matchday 5, marking his third selection of the season (Matchday 1 and Matchday 4) and the third time in the last five matchdays a Dynamo player receives the honor. He is also tied for first in the league with a top speed of 35.96 kilometers per hour.<\/p>\n The Sounders currently sit fifth in the Western Conference with 10 points through five matches and are coming off a scoreless draw at Minnesota United FC. That same week, Seattle advanced to the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup quarterfinals after defeating Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2-1 at home in the second leg of\u00a0Round of\u00a016.<\/p>\n Last week, the Dynamo announced the signings of rookie defender\u00a0**Agustin**\u00a0**Resch**<\/a>\u00a0and U.S. Men\u2019s National Team defender\u00a0**Sam**\u00a0**Vines**<\/a>. Resch originally joined the Club after being selected in the\u00a02026 MLS SuperDraftout of Seton Hall University and signing with\u00a0Houston\u00a0Dynamo 2. However, Resch received short-term loans to the first team for the first three matches this season, earning minutes versus LAFC (Feb. 28) and the Timbers.
