CORPUS CHRISTI, TX \u2013 On Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4, the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Islanders\u2019 Women\u2019s NCAA Division I Beach Volleyball Team will host the 2026 Islander Classic, presented by Fulton Coastcon General Contractors, at The Water\u2019s Edge, located at 402 S. Shoreline Boulevard.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Beach Volleyball event will feature five universities, including Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi, Tarleton State University, Pepperdine University, California State University-Bakersfield, and the University of Louisiana at Monroe. These teams will all play in a round-robin tournament over two days.<\/p>\n
The two-day event is free and open to the public, with seating available along the seawall overlooking the scenic bayfront. Additionally, there will also be a DJ and a selection of food trucks available.\u00a0<\/p>\n
