Communities to the west, including Del Rio, are under a Level 1 out of 5 risk for severe weather Friday evening. The most likely threats: quarter-sized hail, wind gusts of 60-plus mph or possible tornadoes.<\/p>\n
San Antonio is not in the area expecting severe weather, but the Alamo City could still see heavy rain and an isolated thunderstorm.<\/p>\n
As we head into Saturday, the Level 1 out of 5 risk area shifts east, with the easternmost region of Bexar County constituting the outer edge of the impacted area.<\/p>\n
The showers are expected to begin Friday night and early Saturday morning before the cold front sweeps through Saturday afternoon. San Antonio peaks at an 88% chance of rain on Saturday.<\/p>\n
