SAN ANTONIO \u2014 The term dinner and a show is getting a new twist at the McNay Art Museum this spring.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The museum is reimagining its annual gala with \u201cArtfully Served: A McNay Supper Series,\u201d<\/a> launching in April. Tickets start at $500 for individuals, with pairs priced at $750 and table sponsorships ranging from $5,000 to $10,000. To purchase tickets, click here.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n Organizers said the series blends art and dining, inviting guests to experience the museum\u2019s galleries and courtyard in a new way.<\/p>\n Each event pairs artworks from the McNay\u2019s collection with menus created by Texas chefs.<\/p>\n The inaugural supper on April 7 coincides with the exhibition \u201cuntitled: 20 Years of Collecting Contemporary Art,\u201d giving guests the chance to view contemporary pieces while enjoying a multi-course meal.<\/p>\n Chef Danny Parada, director of restaurants for Pullman Market, will lead the first dinner. He has 15 years of experience and has worked with Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, contributing to concepts recognized by the MICHELIN Guide, according to an announcement by the museum.\u00a0<\/p>\n Additional suppers are scheduled for June 2 and Oct. 27, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
