SAN ANTONIO \u2014 A dog was shot out due to a “defensive discharge” Saturday evening while a man was going on a walk, SAPD says.<\/p>\n
Police were called to the 100 block of Torreon around 6:09 p.m. for a shooting in progress.<\/p>\n
Once there, they found out that a rottweiler charged at a man while he was walking down the street, causing a “defensive discharge” by the man, hitting the dog once, according to police.<\/p>\n
Animal Control is on scene as officials continue to investigate this shooting. Police do not believe at this time that there was anything criminal in this case.\u00a0<\/p>\n
