El Paso police are investigating a potentially fatal traffic collision involving a pedestrian in Downtown.<\/p>\n

The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle shortly before 8:15 a.m. on Easter Sunday<\/a>, April 5, in the area of Kansas Street and Texas Avenue, police spokeswoman Detective Judy Oviedo said in a message, adding that no one was transported to a hospital.<\/p>\n

Nearby streets near the Wells Fargo building were blocked off by police, including Kansas Street at Mills Avenue and Campbell Street at Texas Avenue, police said.<\/p>\n

Further details were not immediately available as the scene was under investigation by the Special Traffic Investigations Unit.<\/p>\n
