EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 10 East Thursday night, according to the El Paso Fire Department.<\/p>\n
Fire officials said crews received the call just before 8 p.m. for a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on the freeway.<\/p>\n

A live TxDOT camera at I-10 East and Porfirio Diaz showed traffic heavily backed up as all lanes were closed in the area.<\/p>\n
