{"id":237356,"date":"2026-04-06T16:48:09","date_gmt":"2026-04-06T16:48:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/237356\/"},"modified":"2026-04-06T16:48:09","modified_gmt":"2026-04-06T16:48:09","slug":"amarillo-texas-tech-vet-school-to-host-free-pet-vaccine-clinic-saturday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/237356\/","title":{"rendered":"Amarillo, Texas Tech vet school to host free pet vaccine clinic Saturday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) \u2014 Amarillo pet owners will have a chance to get free vaccines and microchips for their dogs and cats during a community-wide clinic hosted by the City of Amarillo Animal Management and Welfare Department.<\/p>\n<p>The clinic is scheduled for Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pavilion at the Santa Fe Depot, 401 S. Grant St. No registration is required. <\/p>\n<p>Services will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last, and the clinic is open to Amarillo residents only.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery pet deserves the opportunity to live a healthy life,\u201d said AAMW Outreach Manager Kali Dennis. \u201cBy reducing barriers to care, we can support pet owners in giving their animals the protection they need and deserve.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are grateful to our event sponsors for their support in covering the cost of vaccines and microchips, and to our community partners for their collaboration and volunteer efforts that help make these free services possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Available vaccines include rabies for dogs and cats, DAPP for dogs and HCP for cats.
