Soon, The Lighthouse will turn off the lights as the seafood <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysanantonio.com\/food\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">eatery<\/a> is closing after a 10-year run.<\/p>\n<p>The Lighthouse Seafood announced its closure in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1CGrBypWrM\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">a Facebook post<\/a> that went live on Easter Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Happy Easter from our family to yours. We will be open Monday [April 6] and Tuesday [April 7]. Those will be our last days in operation,&#8221; the restaurant wrote in the post.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yelp.com\/biz\/the-lighthouse-seafood-san-antonio?start=5\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">a bio on Yelp<\/a>, The Lighthouse Seafood was founded in 2016, but the people behind the restaurant have been in the seafood biz for more than 35 years. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/share\/p\/1AuZFHPHLo\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">Facebook posts<\/a> also date the restaurant&#8217;s initial opening to 2016.\u00a0The eatery has grown into a fixture on Fredricksburg Road for its menu, including fried seafood offerings, affordable prices and colorful murals that decorate the interior and exterior of the business.<\/p>\n<p>MySA stopped by The Lighthouse in 2025 to sample the fried fish sandwich, which at the time came with lettuce, pickles, tomato, cheese, tartar sauce and a side of fries for $8.99.<\/p>\n<p>We reached out to The Lighthouse Seafood by phone and direct message to seek additional comment, but we were unable to reach the restaurant by the time of publishing.
