The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TheLighthouseseafood\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Lighthouse Seafood<\/a> at 1212 Fredericksburg Rd says it will close on Tuesday, April 7, after 10 years on the West Side.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Happy Easter from our family to yours,\u201d wrote the restaurant in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TheLighthouseseafood\/posts\/pfbid0Q9iibMqpkLfR57C7pmBwyLvqXeFkUrw5dYBR11EFLEuS3EMdFWQZQgwK688FBbuLl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Facebook announcement<\/a>. \u201cWe will be open Monday [April 6] and Tuesday [April 7]. Those will be our last days in operation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The family-owned seafood joint first debuted in 2016, using recipes from their mother. The place soon became a neighborhood haunt for its affordable menu of fried platters, fish tacos, ceviche, and homestyle sides.<\/p>\n<p>It was just as well-known for its kitschy murals. The outside features a trio of fish mariachi. But it was clear that the restaurant would be missed. San Antonians flooded the post with their favorite Lighthouse memories.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFolks, your family\u2019s business has been a SA institution,\u201d wrote one well-wisher. \u201cThe friendly atmosphere, music, Scooby Doo cartoons, and the art on the walls.
