Not loud about it, or dramatic even. Just quietly built different. They\u2019ve seen some things (mostly weather-related), and they\u2019ve accepted that life is going to be a little dusty. Actually\u2026very dusty. They shrug it off and keep pushing forward.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"468\" data-end=\"675\">They\u2019re also wildly inconsistent. About food, especially. Ask where to get tacos, and suddenly you\u2019ve started a full-blown argument. The same goes for gas stations, traffic routes, and whether Midland is worth the drive (it\u2019s not, according to them).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"924\" data-end=\"1129\">Socially, Lubbock is a mix of laid-back and slightly chaotic. They\u2019ll invite you over for something low-key, and it somehow turns into a whole thing. But at the end of the night, you\u2019re glad you showed up. Lubbock always knows how to party.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1131\" data-end=\"1324\">They\u2019re not flashy. In fact, they take pride in not being flashy. Give them a good meal, a decent parking spot, and a day where the wind isn\u2019t trying to fight them, and they\u2019re genuinely happy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1326\" data-end=\"1460\">And yeay&#8230;they complain. A lot. About the wind, the dust, the drivers.
