It\u2019s an exciting time to be a bottle of booze in Dallas. While we have our own Dallas bar guide<\/a>, we love to dig into the Texas comptroller\u2019s mixed beverage gross receipts tax\u00a0report each month<\/a>. Basically, it\u2019s a look at which restaurants and bars are selling the most liquor each month.<\/p>\n Dallas is a complicated and growing city, so this month we stretched our maps to include Frisco and McKinney as well. What are they up to?<\/p>\n For this report, we extracted large hotels, large concert venues and convention centers because those aren\u2019t a pure look at where the locals are going, which is the aim here.<\/p>\n This data set is based on February 2026 and is only for wine, liquor and beer, not food. February is a good gauge despite being the shortest month: Dry January drinkers are back, plus two holidays (Valentine\u2019s Day and Fat Tuesday) boost things a bit. <\/p>\n Dallas\u2019 Top-Selling Restaurants, Bars and Small Venues<\/p>\n The 20 top-selling restaurants and bars in Dallas for February 2026 collectively cleared just over $13.6 million in alcohol sales. <\/p>\n The Katy Trail Ice House: $898,032 Frisco\u2019s Top-Selling Restaurants, Bars and Small Venues<\/p>\n Of the 15 spots below, nine are located at The Star, which is anchored by the Dallas Cowboys corporate offices and practice facilities. <\/p>\n
