EVERMAN, Texas \u2014 The mother of a missing North Texas boy who was indicted last year in connection with his suspected death <\/a>has been found incompetent following a psychological examination, court records show.<\/p>\n According to Tarrant County records shared by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the exam for Cindy Rodriguez-Singh was ordered late last month. Online records also show that Rodriguez-Singh was found incompetent. The records themselves are under seal.\u00a0<\/p>\n An incompetency hearing is scheduled for April 14.<\/p>\n According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, should a magistrate find Rodriguez-Singh incompetent to stand trial, it’s likely she will be sent to a maximum-security unit at a state hospital in an effort to restore her competency.<\/p>\n Rodriguez-Singh was indicted last September, a month after being arrested and returned to Tarrant County after fleeing to India with her husband and six other children in March 2023 \u2014 just before an AMBER Alert was issued for her missing 6-year-old son, Noel Rodriguez Alvarez of Everman.<\/p>\n She was initially charged with capital murder in connection with the case in Tarrant County in October of 2023, and a federal arrest warrant was issued for her for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution in November of 2023, officials have said. She was added to the\u00a0FBI’s 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list<\/a> earlier this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n
