{"id":237870,"date":"2026-04-06T23:30:11","date_gmt":"2026-04-06T23:30:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/237870\/"},"modified":"2026-04-06T23:30:11","modified_gmt":"2026-04-06T23:30:11","slug":"txdot-wants-feedback-to-improve-interstate-35-through-new-corridor-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/237870\/","title":{"rendered":"TxDOT wants feedback to improve Interstate 35 through new corridor study"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">SAN ANTONIO \u2013 The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) released a public <a href=\"https:\/\/www.txdot.gov\/projects\/projects-studies\/statewide\/i35-texas-corridor-study.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">survey<\/a> Monday seeking feedback on a popular highway.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The study focuses on the Texas portion of Interstate 35, which stretches from the Oklahoma state line to the Mexico border in Laredo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">TxDOT calls I-35 \u201cThe Main Street of Texas.\u201d The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.txdot.gov\/projects\/projects-studies\/statewide\/i35-texas-corridor-study.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">corridor study<\/a> is an opportunity for drivers to highlight potential issues traveling throughout the roughly 590-mile route, according to a news release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Drivers in or out of the state are able to participate in the survey. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The survey is a quick multiple-choice questionnaire with a total of 11 optional questions.
