{"id":237986,"date":"2026-04-07T01:08:26","date_gmt":"2026-04-07T01:08:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/237986\/"},"modified":"2026-04-07T01:08:26","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T01:08:26","slug":"dallas-stars-ban-fan-over-alleged-nazi-salute-at-american-airlines-center","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/237986\/","title":{"rendered":"Dallas Stars ban fan over alleged Nazi salute at American Airlines Center"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Dallas Stars have banned a person from attending games at American Airlines Center after they bought tickets for a group of spectators <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/texas\/news\/dallas-stars-fans-nazi-salute-video-american-airlines-center-investigation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-absolute=\"true\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\">seen celebrating a goal with alleged Nazi salutes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Any type of discriminatory or hateful behavior will not be tolerated and has no place in our arena,&#8221; the team said Monday in a statement. &#8220;Creating and sustaining environments that are inclusive, safe and respectful is a non-negotiable for the Dallas Stars.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The clip, only about 12 seconds long, which\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/DallasStars\/comments\/1s8qoa6\/who_are_these_boys_tw_nazi_salute\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">first surfaced on Reddit<\/a>\u00a0before being deleted and later\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/bobbiebrewski\/status\/2039105894965752099\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">reposted on X<\/a>, shows several male fans seated in the upper deck performing what appears to be the gesture in unison. The video was recorded\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/texas\/news\/oettinger-shines-as-stars-beat-maple-leafs-5-1-win-fourth-straight-dec-21-2025\/\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">during the Stars&#8217; Dec. 21, 2025, game against the Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a>\u00a0and appears to be timed to &#8220;Puck off&#8221; by Pantera, the team&#8217;s goal song. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The team conducted an investigation that identified the individual who bought the tickets, who was informed of the indefinite ban.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Additionally, we are increasing in-arena messaging regarding the Fan Code of Conduct and how our fans can report violations, along with prioritizing staff training to identify and handle situations that arise,&#8221; the team said.<\/p>\n<p>Fan codes of conduct are prominent throughout the NHL.
