{"id":238022,"date":"2026-04-07T01:42:14","date_gmt":"2026-04-07T01:42:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/238022\/"},"modified":"2026-04-07T01:42:14","modified_gmt":"2026-04-07T01:42:14","slug":"baby-vulture-hatches-at-austin-wildlife-rescue-in-time-for-easter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/238022\/","title":{"rendered":"Baby vulture hatches at Austin Wildlife Rescue in time for Easter"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p data-v-f1afc186=\"\">AUSTIN, Texas &#8211; Austin Wildlife Rescue welcomed a different kind of Easter chick on Sunday, a baby vulture!<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"KTBC\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-f1afc186=\"\">What they&#8217;re saying:<\/p>\n<p data-v-f1afc186=\"\">The nonprofit said the vulture hatched from a pair of black vulture eggs found on an active construction site.<\/p>\n<p data-v-f1afc186=\"\">The eggs were brought to the rescue as there was not a good place to put the eggs that wouldn&#8217;t soon be torn down.<\/p>\n<p data-v-f1afc186=\"\">The rescue had been incubating the eggs and waiting to see if they would hatch, saying that the eggs&#8217; light blue and brown-speckled color makes it difficult to &#8220;candle&#8221; to see if they are viable or not.
