The need can be especially urgent when the caregiver is also a senior, such as a spouse caring for a husband or wife with dementia or a chronic illness \u2014 a situation that can create additional strain and challenges for both people in the home.<\/p>\n

“You can get something called caregiver fatigue,” said Gary Hooker, “Where, maybe that that child is taking care of that parent and they have a job that they’re doing during the day, and we can bring somebody in to kind of help out in the leave that, alleviate that, that stress that they’re going through.”<\/p>\n
