Community partners and energy coalition host no-cost medical screenings, flu shots, and wellness checks April 7 in Robstown from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. <\/p>\n
ROBSTOWN, Texas \u2014 Community partners, health advocates, and local organizations are coming together in Robstown for a free World Health Day event offering no-cost medical services for residents and nearby Coastal Bend communities.<\/p>\n
The \u201cWorld Health Day\u201d community event is scheduled for today, April 7, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 101 E. Main Street, where attendees can access free health and wellness services with no appointment required.<\/p>\n
Organizers say the event will provide a wide range of free screenings and services, including blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, cholesterol screenings, immunizations, developmental screenings for children ages birth to five, flu shots for adults, and general health consultations for men and women.<\/p>\n
The event is being supported by the Texas Energy Advocates Coalition (TEAC) along with community and industry partners, including Port Corpus Christi-related energy and media affiliates, as well as local health and outreach organizations.<\/p>\n
Officials say the goal is to improve access to preventative care and health education while bringing essential services directly to underserved and working families in the region.\u00a0<\/p>\n
