AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 44<\/a>) \u2013 The Texas Workforce Commission (TWC)\u00a0has announced the launch of the new\u00a0and\u00a0improved\u00a0TexasInternNetwork.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The TWC says this free, modernized platform is Texas\u2019 one-stop shop for internships. With a faster, simplified registration process\u00a0and\u00a0improved search features, the site is ready\u00a0to\u00a0help solve staffing needs\u00a0and\u00a0jumpstart\u00a0students\u2019 careers for the summer internship season.<\/p>\n

The website\u00a0also offers new, AI-powered\u00a0tools\u00a0to\u00a0prepare\u00a0students\u00a0for every stage of the hiring process. The\u00a0tools offer resum\u00e9\u00a0and\u00a0cover letter assistance\u00a0and\u00a0interview coaching opportunities. To\u00a0prepare for the hiring process,\u00a0students\u00a0can refine their interview skills through AI feedback, expert-led video lessons, practice scenarios,\u00a0and\u00a0a realistic interview simulator.<\/p>\n

TWC says the new site marks a significant step in the statewide Texas Intern Network campaign. This is a collaborative effort\u00a0to\u00a0promote paid internships in Texas which involves all three Tri-Agency partners\u00a0TWC, the Texas Education Agency,\u00a0and\u00a0the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.<\/p>\n

The website\u00a0connects interns\u00a0and\u00a0Texas\u00a0employers\u00a0across the state through virtual\u00a0and\u00a0in-person\u00a0Conference Series<\/a>\u00a0events, as well as a digital\u00a0LinkedIn networking platform<\/a>. These conferences provide interns with valuable networking opportunities\u00a0and\u00a0resources for career advancement. The next will be on April 23 at Austin Community College\u2019s Highland Campus. This event coincides with National Internship Awareness Month, which is recognized every April.<\/p>\n

The TWC says students\u00a0and\u00a0employers\u00a0are encouraged to visit TexasInternNetwork.com<\/a> in order to start connecting.<\/p>\n
