Those included vacant housing, wanting to add speed bumps in some areas and keeping the neighborhood safe for the families who live there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The upcoming meetings are the first phase of the city\u2019s neighborhood planning program, which is part of Lubbock\u2019s 20-40 Comprehensive Plan. It aims to enhance all areas of Lubbock.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The first meeting will be held Thursday at the Maggie Trejo Supercenter. It will focus on the existing conditions of transportation infrastructure like roads, sidewalks and bicycle facilities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 KCBD.
