EL PASO, Texas (KTSM)<\/a>\u00a0\u2014\u00a0It\u2019s Mutt Monday at KTSM!<\/p>\n

This week, our friends from El Paso Animal Services brought a precious boy, who still needs a name, for us to meet and hang out with.<\/p>\n

D\u00eda de los Muertos is in just a few days. People will pay their respects and remember friends and family members who have died. El Paso Animal Services is reminding everyone that Monday, Oct. 27, is also a day to remember long-lost, beloved pets.<\/p>\n

This year, Animal Services is debuting its first-ever\u00a0Community Pet Ofrenda\u00a0at the\u00a0Mexican American Cultural Center. It\u2019s on display now through\u00a0November 9.<\/p>\n

El Paso Animal Services is currently caring for more than 800 pets in its shelters. They tell KTSM that you can honor your pet\u2019s memory by helping those still waiting for a home.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, Oct. 29, Animal Services will also host a\u00a0Night Walk\u00a0with their Rescue Runners\u00a0partners. They\u2019re inviting the public to stop by and take one of the dogs in their shelter for an evening stroll. Sign-ups can be found at\u00a0RescueRunners.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n
