EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 El Paso singer-songwriter Juli\u00e1n Kalel is thanking fans and looking ahead after his recent elimination from American Idol on Monday, sharing a heartfelt message of gratitude and resilience following his departure from the competition.<\/p>\n

Kalel, who advanced deep into Season 24 and reached the Top 14 contestants, was eliminated during the latest round of voting, ending his run on the national stage.<\/p>\n

Shortly after the episode aired, Kalel took to social media to address supporters, writing: \u201cThank you for your votes, your voices, your support, and for believing in me since the very beginning. Journey ain\u2019t over yet love every single one of y\u2019all.\u201d<\/p>\n

The El Paso native previously stepped away from the show during an earlier season to focus on his mental health, later returning stronger and more determined.<\/p>\n
