Part of the moment was captured in a social media video published on Saturday, April 4.<\/p>\n<p>TikTok user Alyson Aranda shared a clip of a Waymo vehicle stopped and facing the wrong direction in the restaurant&#8217;s drive-thru lane. In the Alamo City, one of nine places the company operates, select passengers can board the Jaguar I-Pace. On its <a href=\"https:\/\/waymo.com\/faq\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">website<\/a>, Waymo is described as a &#8220;fully autonomous ride-hailing service.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In the online clip, the vehicle is shown not moving and with its emergency lights on. The recorder\u00a0wrote that local law enforcement was trying to direct it the right way. SAPD tells MySA that an officer was in the area, and a third-party security guard who was working at the location notified them of what was happening with the Waymo. They add that the car was occupied.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Officers followed the procedure provided to access the Waymo and the vehicle was manually moved,&#8221; an SAPD spokesperson said in an email statement.<\/p>\n<p>The company <a href=\"https:\/\/waymo.com\/firstresponders\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">works with public safety departments<\/a> to inform them on how to interact with its vehicles. This includes guidance on speaking remotely with operations teams and disabling the autonomous driving mode. SAPD <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysanantonio.com\/news\/local\/article\/waymo-pulled-over-texas-22074948.php\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">met with Waymo<\/a> in late 2025 for training.<\/p>\n<p>Other incidents involving the robo-taxis have happened in recent months.
