CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 Thousands of Corpus Christi travelers who fly through Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) are seeing changes that could make travel smoother and less stressful.<\/p>\n
In a press release, American Airlines said it has launched a redesigned schedule at its largest hub, aiming to improve connections, reduce congestion, and increase reliability for passengers traveling through Corpus Christi International Airport (CRP).<\/p>\n
One key change for local travelers is that early morning flights leaving Corpus Christi are shifting from around 5 a.m. to after 6 a.m., giving passengers more time in the morning while still maintaining key connections.<\/p>\n
The airline says the new system is already showing early improvements, including better on-time performance and smoother airport flow since launching Monday.<\/p>\n
American also reorganized how flights are grouped at DFW, spreading peak travel times into smaller \u201cbanks\u201d to reduce crowding and improve connections. The airline says it also added more time between flights to help reduce delays.<\/p>\n
