The patio at Bricks and Horses<\/a> is as beautiful as ever, and now the menu is better than ever.<\/p>\n

Fort Worth\u2019s luxury Bowie House<\/a> hotel opened with a beef-heavy menu. It was great for TV cowboys<\/a>, not so much for light spring afternoons.<\/p>\n

Now, Bricks and Horses has new, broader lunch, dinner and brunch offerings. They represent a stunning step up.<\/p>\n

Along with the people-watching at a hotel known for housing stars from Taylor Sheridan\u2019s TV shows<\/a>, the new dishes make the patio the best place to dine on pretty days.<\/p>\n

Lunch still includes a prime burger, but added dishes include a crab cake Louie salad, a blackened redfish, tuna tartare and a truffle mushroom risotto.<\/p>\n

For breakfast and brunch \u2014 the best time of all at Bricks and Horses \u2014 the menus include specialties such as chocolate chip pancakes, creme brulee French toast or a Cajun chicken-and-waffle.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t miss the most distinctive menu of all: tiny, silver-dollar-size biscuits that beg for butter and honey or house-made preserves.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve only gone to the Bowie House to hang around the bar and people-watch, take a look out the door past the restaurant host stand.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a shaded patio out there that just begs for long, slow lunch or brunch visits, or splitting a rib-eye steak Diane at night.<\/p>\n

The Bowie House also has added a Sunday tea in April and part of May.<\/p>\n

The tea is at noon and 3 p.m. in the separate Mulberry Room, including savory and sweet items and a choice of teas.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s served Sundays April 12-26 and then May 17-24, plus on Monday, May 25, Memorial Day. The price is $95.<\/p>\n
