Officials have released more information regarding the major federal law enforcement operation<\/a> in Houston\u2019s Clinton Park neighborhood has resulted in 10 arrests on drug and firearms charges, authorities confirmed Tuesday. <\/p>\n

The arrests follow a coordinated multi-agency raid on multiple locations throughout the east Houston community.<\/p>\n

OUR FIRST REPORT: 10 suspects arrested for gun, drug charges as Houston FBI leads raids across Clinton Park neighborhood<\/a><\/p>\n

Federal prosecutors released the identities of the suspects arrested on April 7. The suspects have also begun making their initial appearances in federal court. <\/p>\n

The arrests come after indictments returned in March were unsealed during the court proceedings. <\/p>\n

Two additional suspects are already in custody on related charges.<\/p>\n

Individuals Arrested in the Raid<\/p>\n

The eight individuals arrested on April 7 are:<\/p>\n

Anthony Means, 51 <\/p>\n

Corre Deandre Plater, 36 <\/p>\n

Damian Ray Broussard, 39 <\/p>\n

Emanuel Walker, 30 <\/p>\n

Johnnie Lee Chatmon, 51 <\/p>\n

Leroy Lumpkin, 55 <\/p>\n

Quentin Mayes, 51 <\/p>\n

Stacy Lawton, 46 <\/p>\n

Two others involved in the operation include:<\/p>\n

Ronald Maddox, 42: Previously arrested and still in custody pending additional proceedings <\/p>\n

Justin Leonard, 39: Charged in a separate but related complaint, expected to make his federal court appearance soon <\/p>\n

Alleged Criminal Activity<\/p>\n

According to federal court documents, the group allegedly trafficked fentanyl, crystal meth, cocaine, crack cocaine, counterfeit prescription pills, and firearms within the Clinton Park neighborhood.<\/p>\n

Walker and Leonard are accused of selling cocaine, crystal meth, and approximately 3,000 meth-containing pills. <\/p>\n

Leonard also allegedly sold a significant quantity of crack cocaine from a Clinton Park residence. <\/p>\n

Authorities reportedly seized over 30 firearms, along with cocaine, crack cocaine, pills containing meth or fentanyl, crystal meth, heroin, marijuana, prescription pills, and cash. <\/p>\n

The indictments show that the operation targeted an organized network involved in both drug distribution and firearms trafficking.<\/p>\n

Potential Penalties<\/p>\n

Penalties vary depending on the charges and defendants:<\/p>\n

Mayes, Chatmon, and Walker face up to 40 years in federal prison for drug offenses. <\/p>\n

The remaining defendants could face life imprisonment for combined drug and firearms charges. <\/p>\n

Each defendant may also be subject to fines of up to $250,000 per count. <\/p>\n

The raids were part of a federal investigation led by FBI Houston as part of \u201cOperation Spring Cleaning,\u201d with assistance from:<\/p>\n

Houston Police Department investigators and SWAT units <\/p>\n

FBI San Antonio SWAT <\/p>\n

U.S. Marshals Service <\/p>\n

Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives <\/p>\n

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers <\/p>\n

Houston Fire Department <\/p>\n
