CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 The School of Science and Technology (SST) is inviting educators and professionals to a district-wide job fair in Corpus Christi on April 18, offering opportunities across multiple campuses and grade levels.<\/p>\n
Assistant Principal Marisela Maroney said the event is designed to help fill teaching and staff positions while giving candidates a chance to interview on the spot and potentially leave with a job offer.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe just need more educators so I\u2019m excited y\u2019all are having this job fair,\u201d Maroney said. \u201cWe serve children from pre-K all the way to 12th grade. We have a variety of openings and we look forward to seeing you.\u201d<\/p>\n
The job fair will include openings in kindergarten, geography, English Language Arts for grades 7 and up, and other campus roles. District officials say applicants should hold at least a bachelor\u2019s degree and a teaching certificate, with experience considered a plus.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe do look for teachers who have a teaching certificate\u2026 experience is always welcome,\u201d Maroney said.<\/p>\n
The district also highlighted benefits for employees, including competitive insurance, life insurance, and professional growth opportunities.<\/p>\n

Organizers encourage attendees to bring resumes and dress professionally, noting that on-site interviews may be conducted during the event.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou may get a job right there and then,\u201d Maroney said.<\/p>\n
The job fair will take place at SST Early Elementary, 3601 Saratoga Boulevard, from 10 a.m. to noon. The campus is located across from Most Precious Blood Church.<\/p>\n
