Delays linger after a major crash happened on Highway 90 at Loop 1604 on Thursday, April 9, 2026, in San Antonio.<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened on the Eastbound highway at Loop 1604 at around 7:47 a.m. The scene is still active, but has since cleared as of 8:30 a.m. At the time, the traffic monitoring site SigAlert labeled it a rollover accident and reported\u00a0that the Alamo Canyon subdivision entrance was also blocked.<\/p>\n<p>Vehicles were backed up to Masterson Road and Texas Research Parkway. The Texas Department of Transportation&#8217;s (TxDOT&#8217;s) Transguide camera captured police lights near the crash site.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers are currently traveling about 14-26 mph as of 8:30 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s unclear whether any injuries occurred in the crash or what caused it.
