TROY, Ala. \u2013 The Troy softball complex continues its homestand at the Troy Softball Complex with a three-game series against Texas State, starting on Friday, April 10, and ending on Sunday, April 12.

\nThe Trojans (25-14, 5-7 SBC) swept their midweek doubleheader against West Georgia on Wednesday afternoon to improve to 7-0 in midweek games. Before the second half of Sun Belt Conference play, the Trojans are five games behind Marshall for the No. 1 seed and two games ahead of the cutline for league postseason play.

\nWith the final league meeting with the Bobcats (25-16, 6-6 SBC) this weekend before they leave for the Pac-12 in 2026-27, the Trojans are 6-5-1 at home in the series. Overall, Troy is 13-24-1 all-time against Texas State, winning the series, 2-1, against the opposition in San Marcos last season. The Trojans are 2-1 in their last three series with the Bobcats.

\nEsmee Ames<\/a> and Savannah Money<\/a> picked up a pair of victories on the mound on Wednesday afternoon in the doubleheader against West Georgia. In her second complete game of 2026, Ames pitched just one hit through seven innings with eight strikeouts. Meanwhile, Money grabbed her third victory of the season in relief, dishing out a pair of punchouts.
