Taylor Sheridan<\/a>‘s\u00a0Tulsa King spinoff is casting extras for North Texas filming.<\/p>\n

Frisco King began production in Fort Worth in late March. Previously titled\u00a0NOLA King, the Paramount+ series was originally supposed to be set and made in New Orleans, but is now a North Texas production.<\/p>\n

The eight-episode series will star Samuel L. Jackson as Russell Lee Washington Jr., a hitman that crossed paths with Sylvester Stallone’s\u00a0Tulsa King\u00a0character Dwight Manfredi. Jackson appeared in the final two episodes of the show’s third season last year.<\/p>\n

Texas-based Legacy Casting recently posted several notices for filming in the region this month. Here’s what to know.<\/p>\n

These are the 5 casting calls for Frisco King. Check with mycastingfile.com<\/a> to find out if the calls are still open.<\/p>\n

April 14- Female cheerleaders (18+) washing cars. Filming in\u00a0Southlake, $350 for 12 hours of work.<\/p>\n

April 20- Baseball game attendees with vehicles. Filming in Keller, $110 for 10 hours of work.<\/p>\n

April 21- Gas station pedestrians. Filming in Southlake, $110 for 10 hours of work.<\/p>\n

April 23- Warehouse background with vehicles. Filming in Fort Worth, $110 for 10 hours of work.<\/p>\n

April 24- Sheriff’s deputy for holding cell scene. Filming in Fort Worth, $200 for 12 hours of work.<\/p>\n

Sheridan is writing every episode of Frisco King himself.<\/p>\n

The show is expected to be another “fish out of water” story with Jackson’s character living and working in a city far from his New Orleans beginnings. This is the same premise for\u00a0Tulsa King,\u00a0which sees Stallone’s New York City character adjust to life in Tulsa, Okla.<\/p>\n

In addition to Jackson,\u00a0Frisco King will star Kai Caster, Asa Germann, Lilah Pate and Savanna Gann.<\/p>\n

Sheridan, Jackson and Stallone will all executive produce the show. Additional producers include Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Keith Cox and 101 Studios CEO David Glasser.<\/p>\n

No release date has been set for the series.<\/p>\n
