Now they&#8217;re spotting potholes, too, sending that data straight to cities through Waze.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Drivers can even confirm those trouble spots in the app, giving city crews a clearer picture of what needs fixing<\/p>\n<p>This new pilot just launched in five cities, and 500 potholes have already been identified.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Houston&#8217;s pothole tracker shows crews filled more than 53,000 potholes last year.
