SAN ANTONIO \u2014 A 27-year-old man wanted on multiple violent felony warrants was arrested after allegedly leading officers on a vehicle pursuit from Seguin into San Antonio.<\/p>\n
Around 1:53 p.m. on Thursday, the Seguin Police Department said its Criminal Apprehension Street Enforcement (C.A.S.E.) Unit initiated a traffic stop in the 2900 block of West Kingsbury Street on a suspect identified as Kristopher Shadd Friday.<\/p>\n
Authorities said Friday fled in a vehicle when officers attempted the stop, prompting a pursuit that continued toward San Antonio. The chase ended in the 7000 block of Interstate 10 after the suspect\u2019s vehicle became disabled.<\/p>\n
Friday was taken into custody and faces charges tied to active warrants including parole violation, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, assault impeding breathing, terroristic threat, criminal mischief and interference with emergency assistance.<\/p>\n
