A man on the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office Top Offenders list has been taken into custody after a police chase from Seguin to San Antonio.<\/p>\n
Kristopher Shadd Friday II, 27, was wanted on several outstanding warrants after a violent offense on March 3, according to court\u00a0records.<\/p>\n
He faced warrants alleging a parole violation, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, family assault by impeding breath or circulation, terroristic threat causing imminent fear of serious bodily injury, criminal mischief and interference with emergency assistance.<\/p>\n
The Seguin Police Department learned he was in the area with the help of the Bexar County Sheriff\u2019s Office Top Offenders Program, according to a news release.<\/p>\n
Just before 2\u00a0p.m. Thursday, officers with\u00a0the police\u00a0department’s Criminal Apprehension Street Enforcement Unit attempted to pull over Friday’s vehicle in the 2900 block of West Kingsbury Street.<\/p>\n
Friday drove off\u00a0and led police on a pursuit that ended when his car “became disabled” in the 7000 block of Interstate 10 in San Antonio, police said. Officers took him into custody without further incident.<\/p>\n
In addition to the outstanding warrants, authorities plan to file a charge in\u00a0Guadalupe County of evading arrest in a motor vehicle, police said.<\/p>\n
