The sister concepts in Montrose have just secured a No. 2 spot on Food &amp; Wine\u2018s new list of \u201cThe Top 10 US Bars\u201c. Continue below for more details.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, Food &amp; Wine released its list of the \u201cThe Top 10 US Bars, According to the Experts\u201d. In compiling its list, the publication polled over 400 experts in the industry \u2013 ranging from chefs to food and travel writers. The publication then submitted those results to their Global Advisory Board, who finalized the rankings in each category.<\/p>\n<p>As you might expect, the list features bars in more high-profile cities like New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Located in Montrose, the bars are sister concepts from hospitality dynamo, Bobby Huegel \u2013 the mastermind behind Better Luck Tomorrow, Squable, and Theodore Rex.<\/p>\n<p>While Heugel opened Anvil a decade ago, Refuge is a relative newcomer. Opened in 2022, Refuge is located up the stairs from the OG Anvil building.
