\t\t\t\t\t\t\tA Keller organization will host a nonpartisan event for residents to get to know the candidates running for Keller City Council.<\/p>\n

What residents should know<\/p>\n

Keller City Council\u2019s mayoral seat, Place 5<\/a> and Place 6<\/a> are up for election in May. Additionally, there is a special election on the same day for Place 4<\/a> after former council member Tag Green resigned<\/a> to run for mayor.<\/p>\n

The event is a forum hosted by the Keller Republican Club and is scheduled for April 16 from 7-9 p.m. at Keller Town Hall.<\/p>\n

Citizens to Protect Keller\u2019s Small-Town Feel already hosted a forum on April 8, where the candidates discussed their platforms.<\/p>\n

The city will live stream and record both events on its meeting website<\/a> and on YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Looking ahead<\/p>\n

Early voting for May elections will run from April 20-28, according to the city’s website<\/a>. April 20 is the last day to apply for a ballot by mail.<\/p>\n

Voters will be able to vote at any center location from 7 a.m-7 p.m. on election day May 2.<\/p>\n
