North Texas residents can expect another wet weekend of spotty showers and thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth\/Dallas.<\/p>\n

The NWS issued a bulletin<\/a> about the forecast on Friday afternoon. According to the alert, residents can expect spotty showers and storms to develop with the potential for gusty winds and small hail on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

On Saturday night, a weakening complex of storms will likely move into the region from the west, the alert states, which could bring another round of rain, lightning, and a low threat for damaging winds and\/or large hail for areas near and west of U.S. 281.<\/p>\n

On Sunday morning, the NWS expects more scattered showers and storms, with additional scattered storms developing in the afternoon. None of that activity is expected to be severe, although some may become strong with gusty winds and small hail.<\/p>\n

The bulletin states that storms will then develop out west along a dryline Sunday night with the potential to move eastward into North and Central Texas.<\/p>\n

Coverage last on Sunday is still uncertain, but the NWS says any storms that do move in will have the potential to become strong to severe as well as produce locally heavy rain, especially for areas west of the I-35 corridor.<\/p>\n

Although not everyone will see rain every day, there are daily shower and storm chances through next week and periodic severe storm potential through at least Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The NWS asks that residents have multiple ways to receive warning information<\/a> this week and know their severe weather plan before a warning is issued for their area. <\/p>\n
