{"id":244955,"date":"2026-04-11T10:35:18","date_gmt":"2026-04-11T10:35:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/244955\/"},"modified":"2026-04-11T10:35:18","modified_gmt":"2026-04-11T10:35:18","slug":"la-la-land-cafe-adds-another-san-antonio-location","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/244955\/","title":{"rendered":"La La Land Cafe adds another San Antonio location"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>San Antonio\u2019s North Side is getting its own La La Land.<\/p>\n<p>Permits were filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) to turn a 1,259-square-foot space at The Shops at Lincoln Heights into a La La Land Cafe.<\/p>\n<p>The cafe opened its first San Antonio location at The Shops at La Cantera in late 2025. The first La La Land Kind Cafe opened in Dallas in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, the coffee company has <a href=\"https:\/\/lalalandcafe.com\/pages\/locations\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/lalalandcafe.com\/pages\/locations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">expanded cafe locations<\/a> across the state in Austin, Houston and Dallas areas. Nationally, there are cafes in California, Arizona and Nashville and there\u2019s also plans to open a location in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/local\/charlotte\/2026\/04\/02\/la-la-land-kind-cafe-coming-to-charlotte\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Charlotte, North Carolina<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"780\" height=\"557\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/LALALAND_garcia_lacantera2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5436943\"  \/>The La La Land Cafe at The Shops of La Cantera features a huge chandelier.  Credit: Laura Garcia \/ San Antonio Report<\/p>\n<p>The company has garnered attention for its bright, yellow store design and <a href=\"https:\/\/lalalandcafe.com\/pages\/about-us\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">its mission<\/a>. La La Land Cafe tries to employ foster youth or young adults leaving the foster system, according to the company\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>Plans filed with the state show construction starting in May and ending in late August.
