The Dallas Cowboys<\/a>‘ offseason has taken a troubling turn following the arrest of safety Markquese Bell on multiple drug-related charges in North Texas.<\/p>\n

Bell was taken into custody on Friday in the Dallas suburb of Prosper, according to records released by the Collin County Sheriff’s Office <\/a>this morning.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old faces a felony count of possession of a controlled substance and a misdemeanor count of possession of marijuana, records show.<\/p>\n

Specific details regarding the circumstances of the arrest, including the nature of the controlled substance or the police stop, have not yet been released.<\/p>\n
