Police have not identified the man and it is unclear how many vehicles were involved in the crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The police department did note that while they don\u2019t believe alcohol was a factor to the crash, speeding was a contributing factor.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"899\" height=\"674\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/7efe8c7c18dfeffbe2478e4bdb0467bc.jpeg\"\/><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"899\" height=\"674\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/8ab4d9d75e3ceafd4aa6fbcd3722f8a3.jpeg\"\/><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/aab0f538016480283b6e8d04108b8dc3.jpeg\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cAs is standard procedure in all traffic fatalities, the scene has been turned over to the El Paso County Sheriff\u2019s Office Special Traffic Investigators for further investigation,\u201d according to the Anthony Police Department.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The intersection will be closed as the investigation is ongoing.
